Everyone’s skin is different.

We have different skin types and colours, concerns and goals, and some habits that are not skin-friendly – all of which impacts the way our skin behaves, reacts or ages. And with endless treatment and skincare options out there, understanding and the right plan can be a little bit of a minefield.

If you have mild skin concerns or you’d like to feel more in your skin but you’re unsure where to start, a free personalised skin consultation with a or nurse at sk:n can help you gain a deeper of your skin, and which treatment and skincare programmes will get you to the best skin of your life.

What happens in the skin consultation

Our aim is to find out what you love and don’t love about your skin, if you have any  skin  and what your skin goals are. We combine that information with a full skin and assessment, so we can create the right treatment and plan for you.

During your consultation, we’ll remove makeup or products from so we can fully your skin, assessing the texture, thickness and colour which could concerns such as acne or pigmentation. Your skin will also be under a skin scanner, which can indicate if your skin is healthy, dehydrated, oily, congested or has sun damage. We will take your before photos, so you can see your progress throughout your treatment plan.

We’ll then discuss your daily and monthly skincare and plan to get the best for you and your skin. We may recommend a number of options including peels, or Hydrafacial, and skincare to use at home. Depending on your goals or the severity of your skin concern, we will refer you to a doctor or specialist nurse. And if you are interested in injectables as a to the signs of ageing, we can also refer you to a doctor or nurse prescriber too.

To secure an appointment, we will require a deposit. Your credit or debit card will be against your booking. Virtual consultations are free of charge subject to a £25 deposit. In-person consultations are priced at £50. Please refer to our for more information.

Book a General skin analysis and consultation skin consultation with a nurse or practitioner. Ideal for those with mild to moderate skin concerns mild acne, congested skin, open pores, pigmentation, dull skin and mild signs of ageing, or for those who are simply just unsure where to start. Your skin will be fully  for a number of skin concerns, your skin goals will be assessed, and your personalised treatment plan will be . Your skin lasts around minutes. This will allow the practitioner to fully assess your skin and your skin goals, discuss your and create a recommended plan.

The is completely free, but we do a £25 to secure your consultation. You won’t be charged if you attend your appointment, or you cancel or move your over 48 hours before your in line with our  policy.​

The cost of your and/or skincare plan will be during your consultation, but can start from £59, depending on your clinic.

We will ask you to come makeup free, but feel free to bring some with you to put on after the consultation if you wish.

Our expert skin practitioners will ask a of which are designed to help them create the best plan of action to tackle your skin concern. For example:

You can wear makeup to your appointment, however, we recommend that you come makeup free so that we can spend the maximum amount of time assessing your skin. We cannot fully examine your skin with makeup on as we need to assess the texture, and colour which could indicate concerns such as acne or sensitivity.

Step 1 – We will have a chat with you about everything you don’t love about your skin, whether you have any particular concerns and what your goals are to help us create your plan.

Step 2 – Before photos will be taken, allowing us to track your throughout your treatment plan.

Step 3 – Your skin will be under a skin scanner * which will indicate if your skin is healthy, dehydrated, oily, congested, sun-damaged etc. Our will also touch your skin to allow us to assess the texture, and of your skin.

Step 4 – Our expert will create a personalised plan for you, which could combine both treatments and an product regime. We may several including peels, microneedling, laser or Hydrafacial, and to use at home. If you have a more severe concern, such as cystic acne, we will refer you to a doctor. If you are interested in anti-ageing to boost your confidence, we can also refer you to a doctor or nurse prescriber.
