Brilliant. All the staff help and discuss any fears one might have. New and old staff are some of the nicest people you could ever hope to come across in a dental practice. Every bit of dental work I’ve received from Carl, Tom and Henry is amazing actually life changing. Highly recommended.

I am not an easy patient but Tom and Alex helped me feel very comfortable through two hours of treatment. I got to watch a comedy on the DVD player above my chair so I was happily distracted during my treatment. The treatments and the crown are comfortable and six months on it feels fantastic.

Here at Keppel Dentistry we believe every patient has the right to have a healthy smile. We can offer sedation for the simplest procedures such as a check-up or clean, as well as more complex dental treatments such as dental implants.

Conscious sedation is a technique whereby sedative drugs are used to reduce anxiety, and put patients into a dream-like state so that smooth treatment is facilitated in a calm environment. The drugs used are amnesic, so patients may not remember much about their treatment, and they do not feel the stress and anxiety that they have experienced on past visits to dentists.

Your dentist will be able to communicate with you at all times throughout the procedure and your cooperation is required to carry out the work. This is how the term conscious sedation gets its name and verbal communication is a very good safety endpoint.

Cant thank them all enough. From Renata who deals with the co ordinating of treatment to Tom and Carl who i have seen both. Had a tooth extraction yesterday and for someone who has bad reflexes they were both fantastic. They make you feel so relaxed and the girl who assisted yesterday was also so calm and considerate. I would definitely recommend Keppel Dentistry to anyone. My first point of contact was Renata, who was so helpful in accommodating my needs within a short timeframe as I was heading overseas. From the time that I arrived at the practice every staff member was so friendly. Tom Keppel was very professional and really put me at ease. I am a nervous patient but Tom made me feel very comfortable during my visit. Thanks again to Renata and Tom.

I’m two days post implant surgery and wanted to write how amazing the team at Keppel has been throughout my care. I had Dr Carl Manhem and Charlotte looking after me and they were the perfect clinicians; they were kind, supportive and professional. I was very, very anxious before my procedure but both Carl and Charlotte made me feel very safe and listened to. Carl is brilliant at putting into lay terms his incredible levels of knowledge and helping you understand what is going to happen. He listened to my worries throughout and answered all my questions with compassion. The day after the procedure Charlotte called me to check how I was getting on and I’m very appreciative of the level of care. I could not speak highly enough of the level of care I’ve received and how clear it is that the staff are passionate about their craft and committed to delivering an incredibly high standard of care. As a new patient visiting Keppel for the very first time with a serious dental emergency, the care and treatment I received from everyone at the practice was outstanding! Having recently moved into the area I was not registered with a local dentist, but needed emergency treatment when an infection unexpectedly took hold. I have been attending Tom Keppel’s surgery for over 16 years and recently with Carl Manhem, and during those years have always been treated as a special person and not just a patient.I have now reached an age where my teeth are getting younger than me, but over the years, with Tom’s skill, we have been able to stave off edentulousness(!) though it’s gradually becoming a losing battle I fear...I do not for one second have any hesitation in recommending Keppel Advanced Dentistry.

I have had a LOT of dental work done over the years, both in the US and the UK, and I've never found a dentist as good as Tom - both in terms of skill & ability and attitude& manner. Many dentists in the past have been hyper-critical about letting dental work slip, and then essentially 'telling me off' for it when I'm already in pain and feeling regretful in the first place (!!) Dr Tom Keppel is the joyful opposite of this, he spends no time on chiding you for your delays - and instead focuses on supporting you now: getting you out of pain and coming up with a plan to get you and your dental health back on track.I have had an array of dental work done at Keppel and have found urgent dental work, maintenance and hygiene care and cosmetic work to all be of the same very high quality.Everyone who works at Keppel Dentistry is friendly and professional from reception/ appointment-taking, treatment, planning, billing, through to follow-up.

I was not sure how much of a difference I was going to see afterwards but Henry and team have done amazingly in straightening my teeth with braces. I am happy I went with the braces option as opposed to invisiglin. I took advice from Henry on this and the results have paid off.I would highly recommend Keppel.

Very friendly, yet extremely professional. By far the best dentist I have ever had. Many dentists have tried to replace and repair a front crown and it was always unsightly. Tom’s work is brilliant and now you would never be able to tell the difference. Save yourself the trouble, don’t go anywhere else.

Blessed relief and peace-of-mind from the experts at Keppel Advanced Dentistry! My sincerest thanks for relieving me from absolute torturous tooth trauma (!)My pleas for urgent help were answered by Tom and his team - this even though their schedules were already completely full; they managed to squeeze me in/add in a few minutes here/take away from their lunch break there… I am just so very grateful.In fact, whilst I was in the chair having my emergency treatment done, another urgent call came in- another poor soul desperate and in pain - did they turn them away? Of course not. They organised who was able to stay even later this evening. Now that is dedication. These are true professionals that never lose sight of what it means to be the patient. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Tom Keppel and his team are the finest team of dentists I have ever had. Having had a filling done by a dentist in an unrelated practice I had experienced pain ever since that was dismissed by them as something that needed to be treated with paracetamol. My mother has been under Tom’s care for years and recommended I see him which I duly did - his investigation showed a clear fracture of the tooth underneath the filling, visible on his screen from the photo he took, he cancelled his lunch break in order to see that I was treated that same day and did an exceptional job. I have had no issues since and his work is clearly to an incredible standard. Without hesitation I would give him the highest recommendation to anyone considering a new dentist

I have been going to Tom at Keppel Advanced Dentisty for many years now. I had terrible problems with my teeth, a legacy from childhood, and when I arrived for my first appointment was very nervous but I was put completely at ease by Tom and his team. My treatment options were discussed openly and honestly and over the years I have had two lots of implant surgery done under local anesthetic by Dr Carl Manhem, their implantologist. Having had a bone graft and four implants, I have to say that apart from some localised swelling I never had any pain through any of my procedures. I have had many other treatments done and have regular check-ups and visits to the hygienist. What is also outstanding is the aftercare, which is so important. Visits are followed up with a phone call to check all is well and I know if I have a problem they will fit me in ASAP and sort it. Yes this is private and it has/does cost but it has transformed me and has been worth every penny. Thank you to Tom and his team.

I’ve been a patient of Tom Keppel for nearly 5 years. I go regularly to the hygienist- approx every 6 months. The Dental and support staff are excellent, very professional, helpful courteous and friendly. Toms dental skills are second to none. Only yesterday I almost fell asleep in the chair having 2 fillings done! I’ve had 2 implants, various fillings and crowns. I’m now having my front teeth built up because I’m prone to grinding my teeth. I’d recommend this practice whole heartedly!

I have been a patient of Tom for 20 years-Over the years I have had various treatments from regular hygienist sessions to more advance treatments such as white fillings and crowns and more recently had root canal treatment followed by a crown to repair a cracked molar -I think what I like most about the practice is the high level of care and expertise you receive, not only from Tom but from every member of the team and this has been a major factor in taken away "the fear of going to the dentist!!"-I appreciate Tom's confidence and high level of expertise and simply feel I am in good hands to receive the best care- and technology around-Tom and the practice have always been interested in investing in new equipments and new treatments which, as a patient, I have been able to enjoy the benefits in many occasions!-The root canal treatment I received last month was pretty much pain free despite my great apprehension -Tom took great time in explaining the procedure and the treatment involved and the crown ,I was fitted with afterwards ,was made literally in front of me and fitted during the course of my appointment , to my total amazement ,which saved me from having to return for another appointment if the crown had been made elsewhere -...and the crown looks and feels amazing!I can only highly recommend the service given !

I have been going to KAD for many years and I can't thank them enough for what they have done for me. Without their guidance and help I wouldn't in the fortunate position I am in today which is a mouth that is denture free. I have had the best of care from and referral to a specialist, implants done by Carl at the surgery and excellent cosmetic and other dentistry done by Tom Keppel. Under his guidance I know exactly what I need to do to keep my teeth and gums healthy. The surgery is well appointed, the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. When I have called needing to see someone urgently they have always fitted me in. There is nothing more important than good oral hygiene and this is the surgery you should go to if you want to ensure that you are looked after.Carole Wham

I can't recommend KAD highly enough. Having been an extremely nervous patient I no longer dread going to the dentist (or hygienist). From the minute you arrive and are met by Donna's friendly welcome you are instantly put at ease. Tom just works miracles and I cannot believe the difference in the procedures and equipment used. KAD are light years ahead of any dentist I have previously experienced. My only regret is that I wasted so many years and thousands of pounds before I found Tom and his amazing team.
